Parks and Playgrounds in Canton Community
Bend in River Park:
Located at the end of
Lincoln street next to the Canton Pavilion. This park has numerous barbecue
grills, a picnic shelter, lighted softball field, paved walkways, volleyball
and basketball areas and a scenic waterfront. The picnic shelter and softball field
can be reserved. Rental Rates are as follows:

Deposits
are returned if there is no damage or cleaning needed to be done by maintenance
staff after the rental group has finished use of shelter.
Softball Field with Lights
Softball field can be reserved for tournaments or
individual use subject to availability. If you need to use the lights there is
a $25/hour charge paid in advance.
Taylor Park Community Beach:
Is located on the Miner street road approx. 2 miles
from Main Street. Waterfront hours are mid June through the end of August
11:30am - 7:30pm seven days per week. (See Summer Family Activities for details on the hours open.)
Taylor Park has change rooms, softball
area, playground and picnic areas. All picnic areas are on a first come first
serve basis.
Canton Village Green: Located in the heart of downtown Canton. The village
green has paved walkways, old style water fountain, drinking fountains and park
benches. Home of the Canton Farmers Market on Tuesday & Fridays.

Willow Island Park: Located on West Main Street between the twin bridges
in downtown Canton. This park has picnic areas and barbecue grills used on a
first come first serve basis.
Monsignor Billmeyer Playground: Located at Canton Central School on State Street.
This large wooden structure playground has swings, slides & and lots of
climbing areas. Picnic tables and a gazebo are provided.

Priest Field: Located off of Judson Street has a small playground, and lots of green to throw a Frisbee or
softball.
Buck Street Playground: Located on the corner of Buck Street and Lincoln
Street. This playground has swings, slides, merry go-rounds, and monkey bars.
Remington Recreation Trail: Surrounding the Partridge
Run golf & Country Club. This 5k paved fitness trail is designed for
bicycles, roller blades, walking, jogging or cross country skiing. This trail
was designed for 12 month enjoyment.
